As part of the recommendations after review of the photovoltaic installation of 9.9 kWp in Konopiski, we carried out a thorough cleaning of photovoltaic panels. Cleaning of photovoltaic modules is very important for maximizing energy production, and its effects are immediately visible.
Where do we start with washing a domestic power plant?
Before cleaning the panels, we performed an inspection of the photovoltaic system, with which we reported Mr. Tomasz to us. Meanwhile, for the washing itself, we used specialized tools, including soft-bristle brushes, which are safe for the surface of the panels. In addition, using equipment Mansser Osmo, we used heated demineralized water to thoroughly wash the surface of the photovoltaic panels.
We began the cleanup by securing the area around the installation to minimize the risk of damage and to ensure safety. Then, using a ladder and a fastening system, we gained access to all the panels while taking the necessary precautions.
The first step was to remove loose dirt, such as leaves and dust, with a brush. Next, we washed each panel thoroughly, paying special attention to where the frame adheres to the surface of the module. After that, we proceeded to wash the panels thoroughly with clean distilled water, which minimized the risk of leaving deposits that could reduce efficiency.
After completing the cleaning process, we conducted performance measurements. The techniques used and the materials used made it possible to significantly improve the condition of the panel surface. The value of generated energy increased by an average of 15% compared to the condition before cleaning, confirming the importance of regular maintenance.
In addition, we conducted a visual inspection, which showed that the panels are in good condition and their surfaces are now free of any contamination.
