Cleaning photovoltaics – photovoltaic panels on the roof

Cleaning of photovoltaics – photovoltaic panels on the roof, province Silesia – 20 km from Częstochowa.

Cleaning photovoltaics

Increasingly, customers are becoming aware of the need to wash the photovoltaic system, that is, to clean the photovoltaics both in the spring and in the fall. This increases the level of yield and thus the sun that works for the owner of the photovoltaic system brings him more profit. When reported to us, it turned out that the customer had first educated himself solidly on the subject of the need to cleaning of photovoltaic modules. Therefore, he understood that it’s not only about the obtainments themselves, but also about taking care of the condition of photovoltaic panels. To clean them regularly is to make sure that they serve us for many years.

After accepting the request – Cleaning photovoltaics – our team set out to wash the 4.4 kWp installation on the roof of a single-family house. The photovoltaic modules are arranged on two slopes of the roof. A total of 10 panels. 5 on one side and five on the other side. When the men arrived at the site, they started with setting up the equipment as standard. Connecting the Mannser to a water source and a power source, that’s first. Second, two operators, with one working on the roof and the other working from the ground.

Cleaning photovoltaics

The work took about two hours, as the panels were quite dirty. Mainly due to the fact that the photovoltaic system has been in operation for more than three years. Since the house is located in the middle of the countryside the main pollutants were air raids from the fields and the already fallen leaves from the trees. It is these falling leaves from the trees that strongly adhere to the surface of the panels. By which they significantly impede the extraction of electricity from the sun’s rays. This is why it is so important to clean the photovoltaics regularly. After the work was completed and the installation was turned on, the customer noticed an increase in production of nearly 12%. While assembling the equipment, the team pointed out to the customer that an inspection should be performed. A micro domestic installation requires regular inspections, that is, a visual check of the installation and the parameters at which it operates.

In the end, it turned out that a team of service technicians will still go to the customer to make a inspection of the photovoltaic installation.
