A sunny morning accompanied us as we carried out an assignment at one of our clients. We were there to carry out inspection of the photovoltaic installation. The customer, Mr. Marek, reported to us, knowing how important regular inspections are.
We began our work with a visual inspection of the photovoltaic panels. For this purpose, we climbed onto the flat roof of the utility room. 18 pieces of Longi panels of 370 watts each – giving the total power of the entire installation of 6.66 kWp. We checked their surface for any cracks, scratches and dirt. The inspection of the photovoltaic installation on the roof could also not take place without checking the cables that are placed under the panels. The most important thing is to check that the cables do not lie loose on the roof and do not “rustle” on the surface. Here, all the cables were pinned up correctly. The photovoltaic modules were dusty with leaves clinging to them. But we didn’t notice any damage, which allowed us to evaluate them positively.

Then going “down,” we inspected all electrical connections. We used Benning and Sonnel meters to check the voltage and current flowing through the system. We paid special attention to the inverter (Fronius), which is the heart of the entire system. Therefore, while looking at the inverter, we checked its condition and connections. We read the operating parameters – its performance was at the right level. On the other hand, we noticed existing loose connections that could lead to problems in the future.

The customer scheduled another appointment.
