Washing of photovoltaic modules at a photovoltaic farm near Radomsk in the province of Łódzkie. This is our next order this season related to the service of washing photovoltaic panels on the site of a solar power plant.
Although it’s already September, owners of photovoltaic systems can still enjoy high yields. But are we all sure? Most solar power plants are located in active agricultural areas. This means direct exposure of the modules to constant dusting. Therefore, the owner of the solar farm decided to contact us and have the photovoltaic modules washed.

Cleaning of photovoltaic panels
We always plan each trip to the photovoltaic farm and its cleaning carefully. We start by gathering basic information:
- Where is the installation installed? On the roof or on the ground?
- Is there access to water and electricity?
- Has the photovoltaic farm been mowed down?
These are the base questions that allow our team to determine how the service will be performed.
This time, surprisingly, the facility had a water intake and also access to electricity. Therefore, going on assignment we took with us Mansser Osmo devices as well as long, long hoses and extension cords. We started the work first thing in the morning. Four operators began washing the photovoltaic modules by setting up according to the team leader’s instructions. The panels were very dirty, having not been cleaned for a year, because that’s how long it had been since the solar power plant was put into operation.
We had more than 1,500 panels of 430 watts each to clean. The total, combined power of the installation is 650 kWp. As the plot on which the farm stands is narrow but long, the rows were quite short. This significantly facilitated our work. The gentlemen operators used two devices. There were 2 operators connected to each device.
Accordingly, we finished washing the photovoltaic modules on the farm efficiently and without unforeseen events after 6 hours. Finished washing, however, does not mean finished work. The team had to pack the equipment on the cars in order to return to the base. However, nothing is conducive to speeding up the final work like, the desire to return home :).
