Zawiercie – photovoltaic installation service

Zawiercie photovoltaic installation service – Huawei application not working. Province Silesia.

We received notification from the owner of a photovoltaic system located on the roof of a single-family house in Zawiercie. The customer reported that the Huawei FusionSolar application, used to monitor the operation of the system, stopped displaying data. The 9.2 kW installation, consisting of 23 Longi Solar monocrystalline panels of 400 watts each and a Huawei Sun2000-8KTL-M1 inverter, was working properly, but the lack of access to information in the app raised the owner’s concerns about the state of the system.

Zawiercie - photovoltaic installation service

Upon arrival at the site, we began by talking to the customer and analyzing the installation. The inverter was installed in the garage, which immediately raised our attention as a potential factor in the reported problems. The first step was to check the inverter’s connection to the Wi-Fi network, as the Huawei FusionSolar application requires stable internet access to transmit data. It quickly became apparent that the signal in the garage was too weak, preventing effective communication between the device and the app.

The problem with the inverter application solved. What’s next?

Once we determined the source of the grid problems, we tackled the diagnostics of the inverter itself. The inverter, otherwise known as an inverter, is the heart of a photovoltaic system. We noticed an overheating warning on its display. Upon opening the inverter’s housing, we found that the ventilation system was heavily contaminated with dust and dirt, which restricted heat dissipation and caused the unit to malfunction.

To restore proper operation of the inverter, we carried out a thorough cleaning of the interior and the ventilation system. Once this was done, the device returned to normal operating parameters. We then proceeded to take measurements of the AC and DC sides. The standard check of voltage results, phase-to-phase voltage and also grounding. We use a BENNING PV3 and Sonel meter for this type of testing.

At the end, we conducted a comprehensive inspection of the entire installation, including photovoltaic panels, cabling and mounts. The system worked flawlessly and showed no other defects. The customer was informed of the need for regular inspection and maintenance of the inverter to avoid similar problems in the future.

The problems were due to a lack of inverter maintenance and also disruptions in network connectivity, which were quickly resolved. The system is fully operational again, and the customer can use current data in the Huawei FusionSolar app.
